What Prolotherapy is and how it works

Prolotherapy is an injection or set of injections that stimulate the body's healing processes to repair injured and painful joints and connective tissue. The injections stimulate the body's natural healing to create new tissue in the injured area, which over the course of multiple treatments can gradually strengthen and, in some cases, even completely heal the area back to its original strength.

Why choose Prolotherapy?

Traditional approaches with pain medications and surgery may involve more risk to the patient. Surgery may fail to stabilize the joint and relieve pain and pain relievers only help temporarily.

What conditions can Prolotherapy help with?

Old & recurring injuries

Chronic muscle pain

Car accident injuries

Arthritis

Joint pain & injuries

Sports injuries

Rotator Cuff Injuries/Tears

Tennis/Golfer's Elbow

Muscle pain & soreness

Back pain

Neck pain

Shoulder pain

Chronic headaches

Sciatica

Sprained Ankles

Carpal Tunnel

About the Doctor

Dr. Jason Allen, NMD, strongly believes in the philosophy of "give the body what it needs to heal and it can heal on its own". Using a hands-on approach to assess the muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, fascia and soft tissue, he looks deeply for the cause of the dysfunction. He has helped countless people avoid expensive, invasive surgeries, years of pain and debility and the ability to live a life without reliance on pain medication. Many patients have even been able to give up their cane or walker, return to an active lifestyle, sleep deeply without being woken up by pain and have better mobility than they've had for many years, even when they were told there was no hope for them.

Dr. Allen has specialized training in: Injection Therapy, Prolotherapy & PRP, Comprehensive Pain Management, Regenerative Therapies in Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Men's health and hormones, and Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
